Can someone provide me a list of the best laptops (both brand and model name) for under $ 600 for Consumer Reports 2009 report? I’m looking for a computer for high school. Do you have any opinions as well on what a great laptop is?

Apple Laptops are always rated best by consumer reports, but new ones are out of your price range.
I’d recommend looking on ebay for Mac laptop under $ 600. Life is too short to be running Windows.
