Is it true WI-FI is harming the tree?Scientist says electro magnetic radiation harming trees, grass and plants?

I was planning on getting my own computer soon rather than sharing with college friends sooner or later. I was thinking about getting a Sony or Gateway Laptop, since those seem to be good picks according to consumer reports. However, just read and article in the morning paper, it stated WI-FI a minute or so ago and it said WI-FI damages trees. The effects is due to the laser technology and radiation stuff. I usually don’t believe the news paper media unless it is whether or environmental related. however, I can’t help but wonder what it will do to me ? Some scientist say it conclusive some, who are pressured by big companies say no well it is still being studied and some say well it may be a couple of years before they release the that info the world is not ready yet and too many people like the products. Can you imagine radiation all around you going through you because if this.? what are your thought. German and dutch are going to ban wi-fi by the end of next year according to the tribune and china may shortly follow. WEIRD. Any body out there heard anything like this WI-FI damaging trees. What do you think about WI-FI damage do you think everyone using it at the same time is really affecting. Laptops are expensive? I don’t think many people own them because they are expensive. so How can that be. I was wondering how many people own a laptop in the is. Maybe if I knew the answer this I could make a better judgment.let me know your thoughts on this. maybe switch to a regular desk top with dial-up since new laptop don’t have dial up ports on them.

WI-FI is not ionizing radiation. Meaning the wave lengths are not short enough to shake the atoms of cells and living tissues. Only ionizing radiation like X ray’s and Gamma rays can damage living organisms.

Wow, you got a lotta stuff in this….

1. “dont believe paper media” Guess what, its ALLLLLL media, no matter whether its print, tv, radio, comics, yahoo answers, other websites, mags at the grocery store, advertising on billboards, product packagings, etc, etc, etc, etc its all media, its all selling you something, and 90% of it world wide is owned by the same 5 for profit mega corps.

2. LOTS of people own laptops. Yeah, they are expensive, cars are so expensive you can buy a house for what some cars cost, but most people have them unless you live in the city and dont need one. Having a computer, specifically a laptop, is starting to become a necessity, not a luxury, at least for the adult world. Then again, I know many people who function perfectly well without a computer at all. It really depends on your background, what ya like and what ya do for a living.

3. Virtually everything about computers (not just wifi) is damaging our enviroment. And a lot of the toxic waste gets dumped in China and Asia, which is probably why they are wanting to ban computer related things. I bet you would too if the sh*t was dumped in YOUR back yard,

4. You will NEVER use dial up regularly if you have been exposed to broad band. You dont have to have wifi to have broadband though. I mean, cable modem, fiber optics, dsl. There are other options.

5. Wondering if “enough” people in the US does something to make it ok is the WORST way to evaluate whether or not something is damaging to the enviroment. What the gov says is probably the next worst way. For that matter, neither option are good for finding out if its safe for YOU.

6. How do you find out if its ok? Do the freaking research. Get on that computer or go the library and do the research.

That is the biggest load of crap i’ve heard in a long time!
Wifi is extremely low power radio microwave energy. Radio transmitters have been in use now for over 100 years at every imaginable frequency and power. There has been no documented harm to the environment as a result
.Are you sure you were not reading the “Onion”?

and toshiba tablet review

toshiba android tablet get A few days ago I came across the “Samsung NP-R580-JSB1US” in Consumer Reports and Cnet. Both websites showered the laptop with excellent reviews from editors and readers alike. Now here I am — at this very moment in time — absolutely dumbfounded at the fact that I cannot find the slightest hint of where to buy this exact model. It is only sold at Best Buy (and I have already looked there) both in-store and online. Can anyone, owner or not, provide me exact details on where to find this laptop.

Thanks
