First of all im wanting to learn How you PC users like new W7.
Please Tell any cool features you like about it,
Anything u didnt know it had. (positive thing)
Any minor bugs it has.
Anything thats different from XP.
Pretty much say what you like about it, and what not u like about it. (Pros and Cons)
Say what kind of computer your running also if possible. :)

Come on, W7 isnt perfect so it must have a small problem.

Thanks, and please reply folks.

I hear it’s 10x better than Vista…much faster.

Im still running the RC but it’s been fine…programs all load instantly on boot…no more splash screens on loading either..It just boots and eveythings running (or appears to be anyways)…way faster than vista…no spyware yet and all i have running is avast and the windows defender..I like how you can have themes and wallpapers rotate..slight problem getting epson printer to run but it works now…couple times programs not responding but Im a fast button masher and close and open random things without waiting…too soon to tell how it’ll be once full off programs and drivers

I’ve been running Windows 7 for more than a few months on both a notebook and a HTPC. The operating system is a great upgrade from Vista as it is more stable, more hands off, and uses less resources. Yes, it is easier to use than XP and Vista. The start up time isn’t any faster so don’t be fooled by that claim.

I would still say buy a PC over a Mac. Just because you get more for your money.

I have been using the RC (Release Candidate build 7100) since June, I have to say that its the best OS ever. I’ve used Mac OS X, while the two are similar, Windows 7 is my personal choice, it’s easier to work with, faster, and has loads of new features. I’ve only encountered a few bugs in it, nothing worth mentioning as they’ve been sorted out by now when it has been released.

Other changes – it looks better, runs faster, has loads of new programs (new version of paint, Homegroups, new version of Movie Maker).

Its lighter on your RAM, Faster, Nice GUI, New and improved fetures. Like Windows Taskbar, Aero peek, Snap, Jump list, Homegroup,Windows search is faster,Performance was improved, Now you get faster boot up and shutdowns,64-bit.

Overall its a great operating system. I personally like the new slim User interface they gave it, Snap and Aero peek features makes it alot easier to navigate through windows. Which is great for multi-taskers. Also, Windows 7 has touch support. So if you have a touchscreen monitor. You can now use your finger as the mouse. Well I downloaded Windows 7 90 day RTM trial and was suprise to found a couple bugs on my first use of it. Minor though, nothing they can’t fix in a Patch or updates later on. Im currently using the RC version of 7 and its great. Im pretty sure im going to end up buying the official RTM. I recommend Windows 7 Home Premium, I mean there are so many versions but this one is probaly best for most of you out there.
theres:

Windows 7 Starter Edition
Windows 7 Home Basic
Windows 7 Home Premium
WIndows 7 Professional
Windows 7 Ultimate
Windows 7 Eneterprise

Its pretty pricy though, the upgrase are already expensive. And the full retail versions are even more than what the upgrades cost. Why I suggest Home premium, because it has the basic standard features that everyone uses..Like Media Center,Homegroup, Snap & Aero peek. This is all you need really. Difference between other versions is small and cost way more money. Look at the Professional version. It has all the same features Home premium has, incept that this one has Windows XP mode. And then theres the Ultimate version, Which has everything home and Pro editions have. Multi User Interface(language), Bit-locker drive encyption, etc but why spend an extra 200$ on things you dont even use. Enterprise is the exact same thing as Ultimate just with more security. In reality you should just focus on the 3 main versions, which are:

Home premium
Professional
Ultimate
